Grrr... Bought this for $338 2 days ago.
And walmart doesn't price match clearance pricing.

Thanks Op.

already used. hit a few stones doing my 2ft tall grass. (Really neglected my lawn this year.)
I can't picture them taking a return when it has been used?
(Otherwise I'd just buy a new one every weekend and return them monday?)

initial thoughts on the quality of the unit? clearly you were compelled to buy over other units, curious if the quality of the mower is meeting your expectations?

I bought it because even at $336 it was the highest CC engine at that price point I could find.
Ultimately, I'm no mower expert... but it did my neglected long grass lawn like a champ. For $240, I definitely recommend this mower. (How many self propelled are in this price point?)
I don't know how long it will last but it seems like a solid build.

It has no choke which I thought was weird... supposedly it "auto-chokes" so you just pull the cord and go. I had a bit of difficulty getting it started the first time but I think that was due to me using old gas.
I'll try it again tonight and see how easy it starts. (a few days since last use)

Credit card price protection might be able to refund you at least part of the difference.

Ya, I think it's a pretty hot deal. I got a similar brute mower last year, but with 190cc for $250 with free shipping.

I'm very satisfied with my mower. My only concern is that the mechanism that adjusts the height of the wheels seems flimsy, and I'm not sure how long it'll last in the long run.

Saw this yesterday as well. Cold reviews at Walmart.com and Amazon about rear wheels being flimsy and breaking within months threw me off. Can you confirm if this model appears to have corrected this?

Otherwise, Sears has some clearance on mowers, plus can use 10% code 941612345.

review are bad - looks like a poor quality unit.

$200 / 2yrs is alot of cash for a mower.

Got this about a month ago, and sadly don't have the receipt. Any way to return and maybe get it at this price?

What are your thoughts on this mower? I've used it once and was quite happy. The handle bar structure seemed a bit thin but it held up to me throwing it around.
Being a month, you'll have more use than I.

Didn't have any issues with the wheels. seem pretty decent to me.

Unfortunately I haven't even used it yet! I'm still using the old mower, which is why it sucks I don't have the receipt. I'm sure this has cleared out from most of not all stores by now though.

Further update, I love this mower.
I tried it out again on the weekend after letting it sit. One pull and it started. No choke required. No priming. Just walked up to it... pulled... and go.

Buy something better, I had this before and it is a POS of mower. Heavy, eat gas, eat oil, drive belt lose many time, hard to start, side discharge can't handle tall grass and engine seized in less than 2yrs. Picked up a lawn-boy mower with Honda engine, lived happy after.
