I don't know what type of skates are on sale, but do your kid a favour and buy them good skates. If your kid can't skate due to crappy skates, then they will have no chance in hockey. Skating is everything for kids hockey

Going to be hard to find in the GTA I bought a size 11 and size 1 right before family day long weekend at the warden/Eglinton location when they were $24 luckily.
