[Walmart] Crock Pot 6QT for $15, 7QT for $20 (YMMV) limited inventories

Prices are only valid in-store.

I was in my local walmart in Milton ON and was able to buy two different models.

Stock track shows quantities available in some of the store.

I am listing the links, there maybe more models available.

Waste of time and money if you can pressure cook in no time instead of slow cooking for 5 - 10 times longer.

From what I hear, the instant pot is not a good slow cooker since it’s thin steel vs. a thick stone pot, resulting in bigger peaks and valleys in temp variation.

At this price point a slow cooker is a no brainer.

Slow cooker feature on the instant pot is terrribleee, unless you're making ridiculously small portions. I was making a batch of chili and after 6 hours the top was lukewarm/borderline cold, but the lower portion was scalding hot. You can partly remedy this by mixing it periodically, which partly defeats the purpose of a slow cooker, but the fact that the heat doesn't travel up properly is pretty telling.
