Maple Syrup is mostly sugar and water , so a Best Before date is pretty senseless.

If the product can last indefinitely if stored correctly, best before date would be more of a concern to the packaging.
Glass should be fine, but the lid/cap might break...

I've had a few bad batches from a Quebec supplier. After about 1 month I had some sort of wierd crust in the too. Sort of like you get in milk I guess when it's heated up. This wa Wabanaki Syrup which I still use till this day. All flavours. But yeah its happened.

The speed at which this dropped in price and then went back up to full retail (like, literally one day) suggests to me someone messed up the pricing. I went to one Walmart today that according to Stocktrack had it for $2 yesterday and there was like 30 bottles on the shelf. Back up to full-price of course.

Ya, it appears most stores have gotten the memo and those that haven't are mostly OOS. Deal is on life support.
