Infrareds arent the most accurate. Especially if you are looking for taking a Babies temp.

Regular thermometer(in the butt or armpit) > Ear > Infrared

These infrared ones are useful only if you want to rule out high temps. Not good enough to find accurate temps.

Ya so add to this - essentially traditional under armpit is best way to measure temp. Wouldn’t you prefer accuracy when measuring your temp than a range? I guess depends on if you like things up your butt or not Eyes
