[Walmart] Dyson V15 refurbished ($599)

First time posting. Found this deal on Walmart, Dyson V15 refurbished, down from $799. It’s said the seller is Dyson Official Outlet. Personally it’s still a little too expensive for me, thought I should share here. (The item is visible to QC address, not sure about other locations)

It's not sold by Walmart but more importantly it's FINAL SALE.

Refurbished machines are final sale and are not eligible for returns, only warranty service.

Not completely true - that applies to eBay store, Best Buy and Walmart (and possibly any other retail partners), but as per their own website:
Can I return my refurbished machine?

Yes, our 30-day money-back returns policy applies to all machines, whether they’re new or refurbished.
That means even if you simply have buyer's remorse, you should be able to return it within 30 days (if bought through the website).

At least spend a few seconds actually paying attention.

If the unit was indeed defective, you can return it, just not to Walmart. To Dyson. If there's missing parts you can contact Dyson to send you the missing ones free. The above image along with everything I just said was confirmed not only by Dyson agents themselves but having actually dealt with issues buying a refurb.

to be honest after buying a v10 about 1.5 years ago, and it crapped out after 6 months, i won't be buying dyson again. They are passive aggressive in their responses

Late 2021: bought a dyson v10
Summer 2022: crapped out, told to buy a new battery will solve problem
Fall 2022: it didnt solve the problem
Winter 2022: started asking about what i should do, and not only get told to buy more things to fix my dyson, but told i can't return the battery that didn't do anything

So investment was $500 then $150 for a battery for perhaps 6 months of a working vacuum and we are patronized by their chat/customer service and treat us like peasants and hide behind policies vs fixing the problem.

Currently own: 8 dyson products

That's weird. If you buy directly from the Dyson Outlet you can return it but if you buy from them through a marketplace it's final sale.

Screw dyson. My Dyson V15 bought brand new from Dyson directly has partially crapped out and they can't get me a replacement unit. My unit won't power any of the motorized heads. I'm tempted to open it up and try to fix it myself

Did you even look at the listing the OP posted, "at least spend a few seconds actually paying attention"? I copied the information directly from the description in the OPs link. It states final sale and only warranty service for this item. If Dyson actually allows returns on refurbished items from marketplace listings then they need to fix the description to not state Final Sale on Walmart's website.

That green laser head is worth it's weight in gold of you have hard floors. It really is a game changer (and will horrify/delight any clean freaks).

It's only good for hard flooring, so if you only have carpet you can easily sell it on Craigslist for $150. That's where I bought mine unused for my V11 and it's been perfect.

If I was in the market I'd buy this, thanks OP. Nice first post.

The 10 year warranty on new Dyson products is quite something. Having major parts replaced after 8-9 years is amazing. You take a picture for customer service, email it, parts get mailed to you express.

Something to consider instead of this 1 to 2 year warranty, or final sale business. In the long run, if you can afford it up front, buying new from Dyson is way less expensive.

The shark stratos that's currently on sale at Costco (oos right now) slightly edged the v15 for what it's worth.

Dyson does not offer 10 year warranties, unless I'm missing something.

2 years for new vacuums.
