Trying to decide between this,

Costco deal on the Echelon X3 with 1 year subscription, for $1289

Or the Schwinn IC4, BB website says its available on Backorder now

I’m personally looking for a tall guy friendly spin bike. I’ve seen mentioned numerous times the IC4 is no good for 6 foot 2 guys and up. Any inputs?

If you're going to use the Echelon subscription anyways, then go with Costco for the better bike and return policy (Annual Echelon subscription is currently $549 - on sale from $699), so assuming you keep it for a year that puts the Walmart bike at $699+$549 = $1,248 anyways for a lower-tier bike (I believe). Walmart's bike also only has cages, no SPD pedals.

As for IC4 vs EX-3.. I'm not entirely sure what's the better bike. IC4 has 40lb flywheel and 100 levels of magnetic resistance vs EX-3 33lb flywheel and 33 levels of mag resistance. But, if you're going to do the Echelon program anyways I'd just grab the one from Costco.

Ugh....I wish I didn't impulse order this last night without knowing the IC4 was available again. Can only cancel Walmart orders within 30 mins of ordering. Dumb.

Also purchased last night, is the IC4 worth the additional $300

Yeah I'm wondering how this compares to the IC4 and if it's worth the extra $300 to get the IC4. For starters, the Echelon doesn't have the LCD screen built-in to show the stats like the IC4, and I've read that it's a bit of a hassle to change the resistance on this bike without signing up for the subscription. Is this true?

I would've preferred the IC4 to have better/cheaper app options. Oh well.
