[Walmart] Ecovacs Deebot 600 Robotic Vacuum $179.98

Walmart has the ECOVACS DEEBOT 600 Multi-Surface Robotic Vacuum on clearance for $179.98. It's got good reviews and you'll probably not find a decent robotic vacuum for this cheap.

The Ecovac is about 1/3 the price of the Roomba, it gets decent reviews and with the optional add-on kit, you can swap the bin for a tank and the Ecovac can also do mopping.

That sucks. For this model, it says you can return this item to Walmart within 120 days if you have problems.

I had some questions regarding to their app and called their # and got in touch with someone directly with no wait time. Maybe try that.

Yes they still exist.

I have the N79S/W and it recently started beeping when it was charging. I tried going through ecovacs support but found them frustrating to work with. I googled the issue which pointed out it was a problem with the battery.
Unfortunately I was literally 1 week over my 1 year warranty, so ecovac told me I could ship it to their recommended repair shop in the US on my own dime.
In the end, I bought a new battery from Amazon for $40 and now it works even longer than when it was new.

Other than that, I do like it. Hopefully it keeps going for a while now. Also for reference, I would say we are heavy users. We have it scheduled to run every night, and often put it on a different floor during the day.

I'd buy another deebot (actually considering this one at this price).

New to the world of robo vacs. Would this thing be able to manage in a tight room with furniture? e.g. within dining room, between couch/coffee table etc.

If it's only for larger open-concept areas, then it's probably no good for me.

Looks like their site might have a DNS configuration issue. I used the cached version of their site. Here's their support information

Yes it can navigate around furniture and it has alot of detection mechanisms to go around furniture and avoid stairs, etc. YouTube a review and see how it works.
