Status is set to OutOfStock automatically when stock count is 3 or less
Status is pretty much useless, but that's what it set by Walmart.
You can believe stock count, but they are also wrong often times due to inventory errors.

Any details on the drive that is inside? Would it be fine as a boot drive in a 5+ year old laptop, or should I stick with buying an ADATA SU800 at $10 more?

I bought this few months ago on sale for $70 as a backup. Now I saw today for additional clearance at South Surrey Walmart for $39.99! They had quite a few left.
