[Walmart] Firman generator 1050 watts $199

This generator is only continuous 1050 watts/peak 1300 watts and it is NOT an inverter. But on the positive side it is a 4-cycle engine so there is no need to mix gasoline with oil.

Home Depot in America is selling the same gen for US$222. So at CAD$199 it is a good price for someone who could make use of such piece of equipment.

A friend gave me a brand new one and I had the opportunity to play with it. So I could provide more info if needed. It is also noisy, so forget about using this at a campsite. 2-3 feet from the gen you are dealing with close to 110 decibels.

If you want to have an idea how noisy is 110 decibels then go here.
Love is all there is to have.

LOL 110db:

Steel mill, auto horn at 1 meter. Turbo-fan aircraft at takeoff power at 200 ft (118 dB). Riveting machine (110 dB); live rock music (108 - 114 dB). Average human pain threshold.

The link says 63 db.

Problem with these is they are good for little more than campsite use due to the low wattage, but too loud to use at a campsite! The spike in the required electricity from power tools can be significant, so a unit this rating would really only be suitable for use where it would be too loud to use.

The link says 63db, the OP claims it is closer to 110db. I have a Champion with similar specs as yours I bought at Costco, and it is not too loud, again, probably not camping but nothing insanely loud. Definitely fine if its for a back-up for your house.
