I have this lock and not one problem in the last couple years - I even changed the module to the alarm.com module and it integrated with alarm.com panel.

PLEASE NOTE: I have the "Assure Lock SL" model which you can change the module - this version is locked to NEST.

Stores that show 1 can be assumed as phantom stock?

According to stocktrack some locations still have it at the $359 price. My local one does.

How long do the batteries last? The main thing that dissuaded me from installing a motorized lock was the additional power usage compared with a manual schlage one (still with an electric keypad).

My schlage lock lasted over a year. There are a lot of factors though, like type of battery, how frequent the lock is being used, and exposed temperatures.

I have the yale x nest one now. 4 months in and still over 80%

They say not to use rechargeable batteries in the nest. 4 regular batteries should last a year.

Thanks for the usage feedback @Cybersid, @korre
Are there any problems with fingerprints showing on the glossy keypad enough for people to guess the digits?

Edit: did some quick research to circumvent the fingerprints issue:
- use a longer code with repeated digit(s) to make it harder to guess
- users could all use different codes where all digits are used between them

Not to be negative, as I do like my Yale x Nest lock. But the bluetooth adapter/wifi transmitter connection is poor on mine. I have the wifi transmitter close to two of my Google Home wifi pucks, and it's also only ~4 feet away from my lock. It's completely unreliable and at this point I've given up trying to get the two to communicate. So for the time being I have a glorified key-code lock. I've reset it a few times and it stops working within 24 hours.

I use 6 digit and it has 46k different combinations so I wouldn't worry about someone trying 46k different combinations.
