Specs are great except the screen, barf. Would be good to plug in external monitor.

But honestly a strong BTS machine for $199. Google Drive for 2 years, and also 3 months Stadia promo now!

Processing power isn't demanding on chromebooks, 90% of your time is browsing, video watching (decoding). Battery life is the priority and should last a good day, if not it take USB C for charging and can pair it with a PD-power bank to be a true road warrior
As for 32 gig, rarely you will store anything unless you're going somewhere without Wifi. I have a slim 64 gig USB stick on mine but i barely use it anyways, everything on Google Drive.

And I believe the Auto Update doesn't expire until 2026.

Can you use Google Drive upgrade on an existing gmail that's paying monthly subscription? Would like to cancel monthly and use this 2-yr promo instead for 100gb.

I own one from a previous deal. It's a decent basic Chromebook. It definitely isn't the best performer out there and it will chug if you have too many tabs open. But for 200 bucks, pretty hard to beat. Screen isn't awesome, but if you need a basic device to browse and watch youtube, it'll work.

I don't remember clearly but i think so, since then they now have the Google One subscription which unifies storage capacity.

My Gmail went out of control and when my 100gig subscription ended, i panicked and subscribed lol. Really handy for Google Photos anyways.

They are still available for $200 in stores (not all of them still, some $300): https://stocktrack.ca/?s=wm&upc=19342468858
How would this be profitable for a reseller though? If Walmart had trouble selling this and dropped the price, how would they have any more success?

They didn't have trouble selling it for $300. It's just a back to school promotion sale.
They restocked >500 on July 30 and sold > 100 in less than a week at that price.

When they had it for $300 back in April the whole 600 units were gone in less then 2 weeks. Then they jacked up the price to $500 (that obviously didn't go well)

I think resellers can get at least $50 (if not $100) profit on open market.
