[Walmart] Jabra 85T refurbished Grey earbuds $92.99 no tax and free shipping

Shipped and sold by Jabra.

A decent set of earbuds. I have the ones from Amazon for last sale and they are great. Folks with 75ts may not prefer to upgrade though, as the 85t loses some of the punchier bass imo.

Can the 85T be used one side at a time? With the 75T, you cannot use the left side only. Right side is okay to use by itself but not the left.

It's legit. Check previous threads. Jabra sells their refurb items through Amazon and Walmart as third parties. You can also see them sometimes listed Jabra website at the same price.

I bought these during the last sale. I did not like the fit at all, they felt like they were going to fall out any second. Not good for any type of exercise imo

Not sure about the 86t but 75t I give them a good twist once in the ear and it's pretty secure after that.

The design is different, 75t has round eartips, the 85t has oval eartips. I've heard lots of complaints about the 85t even though it's a superior product.

I've had both. Can't workout with 85t. But sound and mic were better than 75t. I kept 85t and love them so far.

I got refurbished 85T's from Walmart last December. I found the same day, that the left earbud discharged just sitting inside the case and wouldn't charge back until I connected the case to a charger, I factory reset it 3 times with no luck and I ultimately had to return them. Too bad, because I liked the sound profile and ANC of these earbuds. I figured, I wouldn't risk buying another pair, as I'm of the opinion that people who initially returned these, did it for a reason. But, that's not to say others shouldn't buy these, especially at this discount.

Jabra has spotty QC but I would suspect refurbs should have no issues. My 65 actives were refurbs and were perfect.

Can’t say the same for new 75t. 1st pair could not get sidetone to work, 2nd replacement pair the same.

Jabra sent me a pair of 85t as a replacement.

Having all 3 the 85t is ahead by a mile.

The 85t fit OK and don’t fall out but they feel like they will. I haven’t tried running or the gym but fine for brisk walk.

They are semi-open which explains why the bass is less punchy, but not bad at all. Soundstage is better and they sound better to my ears.

Mic quality and calls are great, even on teams. ANC is very effective and does not overly color the sound. Doesn’t really work on the 75t.

Bluetooth range is excellent, on my office laptop I can walk around my (longer than wider) condo easily 30ft away no problem. Also way better than the 65 Active (horrible on Windows) and 75t.

Wireless charging on the case is also nice to have.

Battery life is really the only weak spot for me, but I’m thinking multipoint might be the culprit (pass through/Side tone and ANC off most of the time) and you can only get a few charges before having to charge the case.

I bought the 85T refurbished Titanium Black directly from Jabra for $109 all-in. Few days in left ear got really bad crackling. A second pair will arrive tomorrow. Return is hassle free.

I absolutely love the earbuds but I definitely think there is a higher chance of something going bad with these refurb as in every thread seems like 10% of people have to return them.

Regardless, there's no other way to get true $300 quality for $100. Love em, worth every penny.

I own 85T and SO has 75T. This review couldn't be more accurate.

Anyone saying 75T is basically the same as 85T is probably deaf. The 75T does not have ANC, even after the firmware update. 75T ANC is like a 10% improvement, 85T ANC is like a 90% improvement in muting the outside world.

Problem with 75T is all these fancy mics are great but they don't cancel noise so on a bus you'll hear everything else going on except for the person on the phone. If the use case is a loud environment for phone calls don't bother. Otherwise they are sharp audio calls in low-noise environment. The 85T are slightly better than 75T for calls, however both are strong on the overall earbud market.

85T really is in a league of its own as truly embracing that original $300 regular price tag. Is there a massive difference between the two? Definitely not $120+ worth but $35-$40 worth absolutely. Real ANC, slightly better bass (i listen to electronic music), slightly better call quality, wireless charging case

Something to consider is fit as 75T has the traditional round fit and the 85T oval is a bit strange, probably not for everyone. However, they haven't fallen out yet, but my Sennheiser CX400 did and broke on the 1st time (boo). Oh btw when you bend over with the 85T they will probably fall out. I guess the oval is snug when you're upright but super loose upside down (inverted workouts = no go).

A treat for 85T owners: put on ANC and listen to this

I bought these at $103. Had to return the first pair (left earbud wouldn't connect, return was no questions asked)

Coming from 3 years of 65T they are a bit bulkier with what feels like a less secure fit, but are weirdly more comfortable and I haven't had major issues with them falling out. They also sound much better, punchier bass, clearer mids, strong connectivity. ANC is ok at best, hardly a feature compared to my QC 35II.

No brainer at this price, great earbuds.

it's the same on the 85t, right side only

I bought these twice and the first time it wouldn't pair any o fthe phones.

The second pair I bought had static in one ear at higher volumes.

The Mississauga square one Walmart and Oakville Walmart's both refused the returns.

The Hamilton Walmart let me return it.

Never buying Jabra refurbished again. Waste of time.

Wow, how much time did you waste with checking in across stores?

I will just wait for a proper sale or buy off Amazon.

Would these be small enough to fit under a motorcycle helmet? If so, would the ANC be strong enough to reduce wind noise?

yeah who would trust this Jabra seller, anyways?

It's definitely legit, as evidenced by the 500 other threads on similar Jabra items at Walmart/Amazon.

Answered my own question with a bit of searching. Reddit & a few MC forums seem to say yes, with a bit of finagling, one side at a time once you get to the top of your ears. ANC works for road noise. For the equivalent of $83 + tax, I'm willing to give it a shot.

Thanks OP!

This may be a good deal for those looking for ANC earbuds going for a great price.

I have the 75t and they generally work great for me. Had them for over a year now and still works great. The major difference is the 75t uses software ANC while the 85t uses hardware ANC. Thus, the 85t are bulkier due to the extra ANC hardware and bigger battery to run that hardware.

The only thing I don't like about the Jabra Elite series is they use a master-slave model where everything relies on the right earbud which will wear it out a lot faster. Once that right earbud is dead, your earbuds are essentially expensive bricks. With extended wear, I found my right earbud's LED goes orange while my left earbud stays green when I place them back into the charging case. Despite this shortcoming, I do find them to be comfortable, with great bass, and the sound is clear on phone calls, and the multi-device pairing is legit.

I would imagine the 85t improving on the 75t which are already very good for my use case. The tips are also different on the 75t vs 85t with the 85t having an oval tip while the 75t uses a round tip.

Thanks for the post, OP!
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉
