Good price for a great e-reader. I use this daily for about a year now, no complaints.

Lowest I've seen is 119.99, so this is great

Good price. I bought one a while back for more via one of those Staples coupons.

I bought this and then saw the shopper's x20 post above, so immediately cancelled.

Thanks to OP and shorfd.

Just FYI no returns on opened products at Walmart because of coronavirus.

The Forma is a big jump in price. The Libra is the intermediate model in price and screen size, same new form factor as the Forma.

Usually there're quite a few ereaders on Kijiji. They're popular gifts, and many buy, try, leave around then try to clear them out. You could get a new or mint one at a huge discount, like Forma I often see at $150-$200.

Not a lot of activity during this time, but if you can wait it's worth checking. I got a mint $400 eink tablet for $160.

I do have a pretty decent collection of ebooks between google books, kindle and some free ones / library.

My question is though, what's the value in these ebook readers? Is it just for not straining your eyes compared to a regular tablet per say? some of the higher end ones are like 3-400 bucks so i'm just wondering.

It's not because of Coronavirus. AFAIK, Walmart and Canadian Tire generally don't accept returns on opened items, especially electronics.

"Available at select stores only" I've looked, and have not seen Kobos at any of the Shoppers I've gone to in Winnipeg. Unless they got some in since last February.
