I was able to source the 4 pack of Michelin felts from Canadian tire for $9.99 a few years ago. I do use them.

To be honest, they do add some protection, but if you took some cardboard and stuck it between the tires/rims when stacking, it would probably do the same thing.

Thanks OP! I was able to get 3 sets. Anyone in the Fraser Valley / Greater Vancouver area, there were 6 or 7 sets left at $9 at the Abbotsford High Street Walmart as of 8:30 pm last night.

Out of four or five different Walmart clearance items I scoped for between Friday and now, this is one I did find. I'm not sure these are even all that useful but for $9 I figure it's not bad at all. "Thanks OP, bought two." Will probably give one set to my sister, who will likely appreciate them more than me.

I got a few sets of the Michelin felts a few years ago as well. Don't use them. I think their more hassle to use and really offers me no extra protection.
Unless your wheel face sticks out more than your tires.

Thanks OP. I have my tires up high on a rack and these totes help me move my tires up and down on a ladder. So much that my current handle threads are starting to come off a bit. So I picked some up for future replacements.

Does Walmart ever price match another location? I tried asking at North Van but the manager there wouldn't budge off the $19 price.

I'd imagine clearance pricing is store specific set by the manager of each location. Just like how Costco does theirs.

Still 5 left in Stratford, ON. They are on the end shelf behind the auto section.

I'd be worried about the vecro holding when lifting a 65lb tire+wheel with these. But they seem easy to get onto a tire. Will make storing them cleaner!

What does it mean if it says 0.02 cents on stock track? Is that an error?

You should probably give them full disclosure.
Rotvic wrote: Nice! Can I still get it at discount price?
It means they are to be taken off the shelf and sent back to the manufacture.
So even at self check-out if you are able to locater the item you'll still need to take extra precaution that the clerk doesn't notice. ie scan something else right after

Bought at my local walmart for $19.99 a couple of weeks ago. Not cool it wasn't $9, but I needed it anyways.
Now 0.02? I live a block from that walmart. Any possible move for $20 back in pocket? Price correction? Return and re-buy it?

As stated above, the $0.02 marking is to designate items that need to be taken off the shelf to be sent back to the manufacturer. If you actually needed the totes, I'd just keep them at this point. You'd likely not get a price correction (as the $0.02 item was not to be sold anyways) and if you return yours, you probably won't find the $0.02 item on the shelf and you'd be out of the totes that you needed anyways.
