The reviews are more intriguing than concerning to me..

Why would a “retired carpenter” buy something like this and construct it? Wouldn’t they make it from scratch?

I’m hardly a carpenter; I have a few tools. I would rather make this from scratch than buy it…

That said, at this price, I think it’s a hot deal.
