2 generation old cpu with a 2 generation old mid-range gpu, AND a french keyboard, that's all it's worth. gpu scarcity be damned.

Most likely bilingual.

Not the end of the world at this price.

Is this still useable as an English keyboard? Still qwerty? Not familiar with a French kb. Seems like a decent deal though

US kb costs around $35 from China: https://www.ebay.com/itm/402771124214

Edit: Looks like a very involved process to replace, so would not attempt unless you have a guide and are comfortable disassembling.

Still qwerty yes.
I used a French keyboard before. The one I had had a few keys if I can recall correctly maximum 3 keys (special keys like pipe or alt) labeled differently, but it typed out just as a English one since I used it on an English version of Windows. I got used to it in no time and kept it for years as my main KB.

Looks like the keyboard is the main discount factor here. If you don't mind it or plan to use an usb keyboard mostly for your gaming or at your docking work station anyways then this is an awesome price for the specs you get given the current circumstances.

Everyone's personal experience with the keyboard will be different of course. For French-speaking Canadians I guess this works out right off the bat. I don't know.

As confusing as the Nvidia naming scheme for the 16 series was, the 1660 Ti is actually only 1 generation old.

The 4C/8T CPU is more of a concern if you need any kind of multi-threaded high performance from your machine.

It has a stunted right shift key and I think it's either the comma or period that is out of place. I've used one only a handful of times and it causes me immense frustration.

For me, the cutoff point in laptops is GTX 1650 / and above.

So, for an "above" laptop with 16GB and 512 for $700, this is an insane good deal.

Great find OP!!!!!! Upvoted!!!!!!!!!

Below is for the 2060, but Dave says the cooling is really good, another PLUS+.
