The product is fine and works, but it isn't really meant to be a replacement for a proper booster seat. Really meant for situations like travelling abroad (hopefully not long-distance driving) or to use in someone else's car (or another kid using your car) so you don't have to haul a full size booster seat.

My toddler used this on our trip to cali back in 2018. Said it was uncomfortable as there was little padding. Had to buy a small pillow Spent $40 on it. At 10, its a steal

yeah, I looked at this one and bubblebum and went for the bubblebum. I wanted a seat we could use for ubering, and rental cars for a trip and the bubblebum seemed like a much better choice overall.

Thank you grabbed one for travel. $65 to rent a booster seat from the car rental agency. This is a no-brainer and fits on a carry-on.

FYI - The Bubblebum is not approved in Canada. It's fine to use while travelling in the US, but it is not legal to use in Canada.

The Mifold can sometimes cause the belt to sit too low (on the thighs instead of the hips). Here's a review from some car seat techs: https://csftl.org/mifold-review/

A more consistent-fitting travel booster is the Graco RightGuide. It is obviously more expensive than $10, but it is much more likely to place the seatbelt correctly on the child.

Yeah, I bought it to use in the US and EU where we were travelling to. It's way easier to deflate this and carry it around than all of the regular boosters.

I would NOT buy this Mifold because it's obvious to me that the child sits too low, which is the whole point of a booster seat, to make sure the belt is positioned properly at the thighs and shoulders.
