All $98
You wouldn't be able to buy it in Montreal in-store anyway; bikes are non-essential.

quick question... does walmart assemble the bikes? If not, any recommendations on a cheap but quality bike assembler in the GVR area?

Thanks op. Just picked up one from Metrotown. Still lots left although the guy said that today might be last day for sale. Not sure if that's true or not though.

looks assembled to me from someone else's post ... if not i don't think it's worth to pay someome to assemble... would be more than the cost of the bike itself

AFAIK Walmart assembles thier bikes however I highly recommend after the assembly to politely insist they check the tightness on the stem assembly. It's all cool if you want to ride hands free but if that stem/handle bar goes loose/comes out and you're going downhill you're going to have a hell of a hair raising ride. Also double check the hand brakes are tighten and that loctite is used on the screws to help keep them from coming loose over time from vibration. Nothing sucks worst then trying to slow a bike down when the hand brakes come loose and drop down. Good luck trying to grab the brakes then.

No, they come in a box... it'll fit in almost any car for people wondering if they can transport it... it'll fit in most trunks and if not, fit in the backseat of a sedan.

I purchased this in summer and returned it as the gears wouldn't work (too tight). The brakes stopped engaging after a week's use. The walmart guy who assembled this fixed the brakes, but couldn't get the gears to work properly. Long story short if u r using this as a road bike and do not rely on gears then go for it.

Just a FYI, someone who is 5 foot 5 or taller would find this bike too small. I’m barely 5’6” and I’m on a 28” bike. 26” is for shorter people

Same in NS. Lots showing in stock, but all listed as $98. It's a shame, for $39 it'd be worth investing in 2 for the kids for an Easter present or something. Although, I'd prefer it if the top bar was in a straight line rather than at an angle. They fit soooo much better on my bike rack with a straight bar
