You can try for free (10hrs) on the EA launcher for PC.
I'm mostly into Sim racers but I play more arcade style racers like Forza Horizon with a controller as well.
I love the "look" of the NFS games but God damn the handling is just unbearable.
They try to make the cars handle well, then you tap the brakes in a corner and it goes into Drift handling mode. Yuck!
The Grand theft auto games have better driving physics.
I'd rate the handling just behind Crusin' USA.

Game is good, but poor marketing, a weird story, and bad prequels have an effect. It’s not amazing, but just a good arcade racer.

Hot Pursuit is on sale right now for $5.49 on the PS Store. It also received an update to play 4K/60FPS on PS5.

Unbound is actually developed by Criterion also. They haven't done a NFS game since Rivals which was also very good.

grabbed this at Gamestop for 39.99 of course it was the last copy and opened but sold as new. Eat $hit gamestop
