I have it. The guards are too short for haircuts. Maybe you can 3dprint some.

Got this for $35 at its all time low in November. Nifty little trimmer, still good even at $60. Would not use for haircuts due to the guard lengths. No 3rd party guards available that fit. Good for trimming other areas on your body though.

It's regular 50$ at Costco, and they have plenty of stock.

It's fine for haircuts if you're patient since the cutting surface is a bit small. Depends on how short you need your hair.

I thought the one at Costco also had a better warranty?

Also 5 years, but the Costco one should be a better model. It's in a green packaging and has 6 hour battery life vs 5 hours on this. I'm not sure but possibly the Costco model has travel lock and this does not.

Walmart Model is MG7770/28. Costco model is MG7790/18

16mm is the longest guard. Works fine trimming sides and back of head. Just angle the unit if want slightly longer hair.

Don't think Costco sells them anymore. I have gone to several and they don't have them and also not shown online anymore. Anyone see any lately? Let me know which costco

Out of stock... you'll see across many retailers that Philips Groomers are in the same situation.

It has a 16mm guard which is equivalent to a #5 haircut. That seems long enough for most people.

The thread last year for this was popping... The discussion seemed to mostly centre around if buying it for costco for $40(over walmarts sale price of $30) was worth it, given that the WM one is limited in a few ways(cheaper outer case, cant be used while plugged in, no travel lock... Probably a few other things)
Id wait for this to go down to the $30 price unless you need it. With everything kinda in the process of opening up now, theres really less need to hurry out and secure this... If you need a haircut, odds are you can go to a hair dresser in a week or 2(or already can).

I saw it at Brampton costco last week, still had a few. I have had this for couple years now, pretty happy with it and has seen a lot of use. Great for trimming beard and also been using for haircuts recently

Good deal, I bought mine on Amazon two weeks ago for more than $90 because I really needed it and no-one else seemed to have stock at a lower price.

This is a nice quality piece of equipment that is a pleasure to use and my wife did a decent job on my hair with it. Since I am older and bald the longest comb which is 16 mm was not too short for me. And of course you can blend from this into longer hair. But a longer comb would be nice to have. Look at the Youtube demos of this clipper to see how people use it. I also like the eyebrow and nose trimmer attachments.

When barbers get back to work I will probably use this for weekly trims on the edges and stretch out my pro cuts to save money. I am sure this clipper will pay for itself.

You could try pricematching at Walmart with Costco if you don't have a Costco membership, just get a friend to take a pic of the pricetag show it on your phone and tell them pretending you took the pic
