My feedback:
I’ve been using the “premium” sonicare diamondclean since 2014 but because it recently got too difficult to clean the gunk at the bottom, inconsistent power issues and smell possibly due to mold form inside around the power button, I wanted to find a sonicare that doesn’t have this problem. The 2100 doesn’t have the diamondclean’s silver chrome bottom that will eventually scrub off. The power button is also fastened by silicone so I don’t think water will skim through around. Best of all it does fit my spare diamondclean heads so those are not wasted. Through amazon reviews, these probably have a longer battery too without the led and fancy stuff. Talking about fancy, from 6 years of using diamond clean, I really don’t use any mode other than “Clean”. Lastly, the male connector that sticks into the brush heads is spring designed which I find gives me a more confident and powerful clean...if that makes sense. Definitely liking this toothbrush a lot better vs the diamondclean. I wish I saved myself probably $100 from buying diamondclean.
