Looks like store manager clearance that is not in the system and discount taken at checkout. Does not show up

Scarborough Town Centre Store shows $50 price btw and 32 in stock. (that's the only store that's 50% off)

It was actually lower on ebay thru The Source at $54.99.

Not looking to diss OP’s deal. But these retro consoles.... does anyone use them after the first month or two? Or does the novelty just wear off quickly?

I still use my snes mini weekly that I bought at launch. Funny thing is that it's hacked and has 90 games on it yet I only play 3 or 4 games (2 of them were originally on it)...

Someone posted that they found it on clearance with 32 units at another store in Ontario... after I posted. So my post helped out some people. There may be other WM stores that also mark it down.

But this is not a hot deal at 50% off and the lowest price noted by other posters so far? OK. Browse and please move on.

You can't get the deal but that's what 90% of the "hot deals" on here are. That's RFD.

50$ is worth it just to mod it with nhl 94

I actually expected to see a ton of these in every WM gathering dust after the holidays, but don't even see them in stock at any WM I've checked.

Yes, but not in the title except the YMMV part. Yours is not even YMMV. Your "deal" is the equivalent of telling a friend there's a coat in the thrift store for $5 that he might like. On stocktrack is literally says 2 stores btw so I don't think anyone else is marking it down. I'm only talking about the limited availability of the deal. 50% off would be fine for me and might even think about buying it, which is why I read this thread, but lo and behold, a whole 40 units in the entire country is on sale. Wow, thanks for nothing.

If you want I could start posting deals in thrift stores in my town and claim them as Hot Deals too. OMG, they have 40 copies of NHL 06 for the GameCube at my local thrift store! Everyone in the country should come to my town and buy these before they're gone! That's what this trap of a thread is.

It's pretty easy. Download a bunch of Sega ROMs to your pc and then just YouTube "project lunar" and watch the videos on how to load the games onto the Sega
