[Walmart] Space Heaters - Clearance, nationwide in-store

In case you're looking to get a space heater for next season (or even now, as there are still a few weeks of winter!), I noticed a large section at my local Walmart with many brands/models on sale. Some deals are warmer than others (no pun intended) and YMMV, although it looks like a nation-wide clearance.

Here are a few examples:

There were quite a few other brands/models, as well as humidifiers. Reviews on walmart.ca seem to be all over the place, so definitely do your due diligence!

Stay comfy and warm!

Quick upvote as I used last season's Costco clearance on heaters to pick up 2 tower heaters. They came in handy this year as my furnace went out and used them to keep the family warm.

Even if they never get used, its always safe to have a couple.

Some nice electric heaters here, just remember that other than features like perhaps timer, fan speed and appearance pretty much all electric heaters are equally efficient in terms of producing heat. A $100 heater may have more settings and be better made than a $20 unit, but in terms of the heat per watt of electricity they will be the same.

I bought the 1500W profusion heater early this winter and am completely happy with it. No issues so far.

The De'Longhi 24' Ceramic Tower Heater is great.
I bought one off of Amazon a couple of years ago when it was on sale for around $33. Definitely worth it

One thing I found, is that various heaters of course have different fans. Bought one from HD for my desk, and it was so loud I couldnt even work nerveless have any meetings.

Another thing is that most of the fan speeds were the same on high heat or low heat. I picked up one from Walmart last year that is extremely quiet and the fan varies from high/low heat, but looks like they dont stock it this year.

And for the more techy, ran a power meter on a couple of different fans to see which ones were close to their advertised wattage. Some bang on, but others actually varied quiet a bit. One even drew quite a few watts just doing nothing.

Thanks OP! I was able to pick this little guy up at the local Walmart in BC for $59. Amazon sells it for $129.

How's the fan noise? Oscillating noise (squeaking sound)?
Can you turn the unit on to low setting right away?
