[Walmart] Sterilite 6L Clear Storage box, 5-pack for $3 (reg. $6) YMMV

Was at the Pointe-Claire Walmart and saw some Sterilite 6L Clear Storage boxes on clearance, 5-pack for $3 (reg. $6). Not a huge deal (50% off) but as there have been threads about the KIS or Tuff brands for $0.97 per box, these work out to be $0.60 each. I already have some of the others from HD and CT. These are slightly different to the others but will work fine for my needs, especially since they cost almost 40% less.

There were about ten 5-packs left as of 2:00pm, only with blue lids. They were on the end shelves near the middle of the store, on the side closer to the front of the store. Staff did not know where to find them - had to look on my own. Most likely a big YMMV - maybe it is store specific?

They are similar to these (although not the same UPC's, etc.):

• See-through base for easy identification of contents
• Recessed handles for easy lifting
• Secure fit lid
• Indexed surface for stability when stacking
• 14" x 8" x 4 3/4"
I can't afford to save that much!

Not store specific. I got some a few days ago here in BC. There were some other larger storage bins on clearance too but not as big a discount.

At regular price they're a good deal. For $3 they're a steal. My basement is full of these already but I still might have to pick some up!

I visited the Grandview Highway location in Vancouver, BC and saw the same deal as the OP. Available with blue, orange, or cream lids.

I found the larger 55L transparent storage bins scanned at $3. Available colors: grey, blue, aqua, orange. The handles are just large enough to accommodate your fingertips. I thought the lids for these bins were loose-fitting, not too secure. You can stack these bins, but I wouldn't recommend putting in too many heavy items. The lids would buckle under the weight. The plastic used in the construction of the bin is glossy, so static electricity may be a problem. The large storage bin is fairly sturdy, but I can flex the longer sides.

Dimensions: 23.5" L x 16.88" W x 12.25" H

In addition, there were larger 11.4L shoe box-sized containers available as a two-pack bundle for $3. Available colors: white, blue, orange, cream. The bin is much more rigid than the large bins I mentioned earlier. I put in three Triscuit cracker boxes to give an idea of the bin's size, The indent in the lid prevented me from closing off the bin though.

Dimensions: 16.88" L x 11.5" W x 5.88" H

There was also a compact three-drawer tower selling for $7,

Dimensions: 14.25" D x 8.4" W x 24" H

Anyone have any luck in Ontario? Checked a store in west GTA this morning but was unable to locate any of these items.

Yes, got some in extreme Eastern Ontario, but they're pretty well sold out by now, unless they replenish stock. Regular price was $1.73 each, this 5-pack was $0.60 each. Can't go wrong at that price.

Windsor East location had about a dozen, blue, cream, and white lids. If anyone cares, the quality of the lids is very low, for example the blue ones have lots of light coloured spots.

UPDATE: Windsor Dougall location is regular price, no deal.
