It's always the associates too lazy to go check the back or actually look. I've had employees tell me like 10 times stuff was out of stock and when i ask a person who i know will look, every single time they've found it in the back. I think most cases it's just lazy employees. My 350 dollar 75" hisense tvs were all "out of stock" until i made a manager actually go look
sometime it's the employee hiding it to keep for themselves

Thanks for saving me the trip @pswart

It’s down to 10 now

My local store says it has 4 so will go check. IF I am able to find in store how does this compare to the general pricing of cheap 55-65' TVs of late? Wait for better/bigger/cheaper on BF? I see a 55" on Costco site for $550. Does Walmart offer similar insurance to Costco and (think $50 for extra 2/3 years?) or is credit card insurance good enough?

Also, found this TCL on US Walmart for $298 pre-BF sale slightly lower model? Sign of pricing to come?

I picked up one for $400 (Actually $400 not $399). It did have a sticker on it that said $678 (but know it is/was $798 online and in store) but I figured that was from a previous sale. They had one left one top of that and the manger said he seen the other one yesterday when looking for this one but when I asked about it tonight when I picked up the one on hold for me the night manager said the last in stock was the display model and they do not sell that. Oh well. Thanks OP.

If you're planning to use it as a monitor then consider the 4k 43" Hisense dolbyvision at Costco for $399.
That's assuming dolbyvision means it's chroma 4:4:4 ?? Can't find the chroma specs online. Anyone?

p.s. use an hdmi 2.1 cable!

Well I bought one. Will attempt a price adjustment at a store that has a lower price.

If not I’ll just return and get the one from Hisense… or just wait until Black Friday.

I have 3 different TCL 55" models in my Amazon cart in case the price drops there too. The 5-series android, 4-series roku, and 4-series android. Prices haven't budged for months.

Which location was this at? I'd love this deal but it shows up $799 on their website. I went into Macleod trail walmart and it was priced $799 there too.

the deal is dead for a long time, wait for BF and hope this price will be somewhere again. For now, Amazon sells 55" 5-series for $600 and I'm still waiting for a better price. You can check the stock/avail here:
