How does that compare to Ox Head brand? What brand/rice would you compare this too?

Stocktrack says not sold at any nearby stores for Richmond Hill:
https://stocktrack.ca/?s=wm&upc=62891517314

Online also shows OOS in stores. Online looks available but I've had bad luck with walmart online groceries.

So YMMV.

**** edit

Looks like there are 3 UPCs. I only found that the last one worked to show stock: https://stocktrack.ca/?s=wm&upc=62891566989

My parents used to tell me about the SMELL...I honestly do not care about that anymore. Rice to me is rice, whether it's Basmati, Black Rice, Brown Rice, Taro Rice, Parboiled Rice, as long as I'm not using sticky Calrose/Sushi rice to eat, then I'm ok with whatever!

Dont mix in too much first just in case you dont like it. Maybe like a quarter sushi rice.

I mix a whole lot of other types of rice like brown, basmati, quinoa. Water to rice ratio still 1 to 1.

Bought a huge bag of basmati rice from a deal early in the pandemic, toilet paper was gone and panic buying was rampant.

Spent the first two or three waves of pandemic choking down that garbage before tossing the rest. Would rather have Covid than buy another grain of basmati.

Jasmine Rice is ideal. The fresher the better and the only real way to know is by water absorption. imo

That mix of sushi rice with Jasmine sounds lovely.

Good deal OP.
If I robbed the place I would be out by now....
