This is kind of an outdated technology. Most people will use instant pot now. Instant is cheaper and more convenient.
I really cannot see a use for this.
If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

$300 for a styrofoam-insulated cooking pot. LOL. Even on $80 I won't buy it.
That's why they still got 3 left on the shelf.

I can only see situations such as, going for a large picnics where it's a 1+ hour drive and you can put something like soup or some other dishes that you need it to be kept very very warm.

But other than that, then yeah, is outdated technology

The last 0 should not be there (it's not even correct UPC, the last digit is a check digit and it is supposed to be '9', not '0')
Here is the correct link:

I was thinking that majority of my usage will be for getting some Pho using my own pot instead of the styrofoam or the plastic container (and of course the picnic too)

Please research before you comment. This is made of stainless steel and aluminum, made in Japan high quality kitchenware. To many, this is a much more efficient and safer choice than slow cooker or instant pots.

I spotted a few in Coquitlam Walmart but selling at a higher clearance price. Still worth it. And also it is weird that it said it was originally $179.99 as MRSP is definitely $299.99 everywhere.
