You are right it lasts a long time. I did two coats in July, 24 hours apart as instructed. Car is always outside and washed just as often as yours. It's still beading water, very impressive.
I did 2 coats in late August and now the bottom half of my doors don't bead water anymore. Seems it only lasts maybe 3 months in winter like climates like Edmonton

what about using dish soap I used Palmolive to wash car when I want to strip out the wax? unsure if meguiar would be different
