Went to Blaine to pick up from 5D package. Only $2 per package with no annual fees and free to register.

Was nervous crossing back because I didn't want to get taxed. thankfully, my line up ended with a cutie , like a younger Sandra Bullock. Thick frame cat eye glasses. Told her I got a $800 laptop. She was surprised at the high price. So I told her it's a gaming laptop. She asked who it's for. I said it for me. She waved me through.

Playing some over watch in stock setting to get a baseline before I undervolt. So far I get 100fps on medium in overwatch.
No cutie for me, just a military boy. Got dinked for ~$137 in taxes. Laptop's nice tho.

What do people think of this as a comparison?

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07C7V ... UTF8&psc=1

It's used from Amazon Warehouse, it's 8gigs instead of 16, 60hz screen, and no HDD. Planning on upgrading RAM if possible. With ebates, the prices is ~ $1200.

Thoughts?
Why settle for the typical underpowered overpriced Canadian hardware when salvation is south of the border with the Walmart USA laptop?

Send it through CrossBorderPickups to reship to your Canadian address.

Good luck and God Bless.

Not too much, maybe $20 to $40, not sure exactly. Even after shipping and taxes you're still hundreds of dollars ahead on a more powerful unit.

It was Christmas Eve. She had pity for my lonely soul spending Christmas Eve with my laptop.

Because they are a separate company with different supply chains.
