[Walmart] Wahl Rechargeable Beard Trimmer with Stand (and pouch!) - $12.97

Almost 50% off from a good brand. Appears to suggest you can use it plugged in as well.

Its probably doable but wouldn't recommend it, smaller and weaker blades so you gotta go extra slow. Otherwise it might pull if you have longer hair.

Just go to Marshalls/winners they usually have cheap Wahl clippers there, been using one for several years now.

I have used this to cut my husbands hair and it does work but just takes more time to go slowly to avoid snagging the hair.

For Beard Trimmers, I'd stay away from the rechargeable and go for one that's 2xAA powered. The cheap rechargeable batteries they throw in these things lose power/capacity pretty quick ~2years.

As for hair clippers, go corded. Same awful rechargeable batteries.

I have a rechargeable trimmer which lasted well over 2 years. Also the ones that take batteries are some of the worst quality ones I've seen and used in the past.

Although,I do agree that corded hair clippers are better than cordless.

I love cordless, found a good brand that's chinese but actually great quality for $25-30.

Cordless is great to buzz your legs, arms, haircut in the shower so you don't need to bother with hair stuck to a tiled floor.

Don't judge me

Pretty sure I have had this exact one for years, and always used it on my head. It works great on hair that's ALREADY short, and just needs to be taken down more. But it definitely suffers when trying to cut hair over a few cms.
Can you spare some cutter, me brother?

Chances are the shaver probably uses NiMH/NiCAD batteries which are easily replaceable as long as the shaver can be taken apart.
