[Walmart] Walmart Energizer CR2032 lithium batteries x 2

Walmart has a good deal on energizer 2 cr2032 pack of batteries for $3. As you can see in the photo. The single one is like 5-6. Stock up for shield remotes and car fob batteries.

Calgary deerfoot location.

I usually get the whole sheet of these at Princess Auto for under $4. Quality seems to be the same.

LULUMON wrote: Is this really better than amazon basics? I feel like they are capped at not much capacity. Also both Sony and Duracell ones I bought bulk lost charge quickly in storage so not sure how I feel about buying bulk.
some amazon ones I bought for bulk energizer/sony/panasonic cells didn't seem to last as long. Never gone to the point to weight em but that is one way to see the difference in some cells like a 8000mAH lioh 18650 cells (8000 doesn't exist but the cells don't even weight as much as a 1000-2000 cell. Likely were knock offs on amazon for the sony/energizers I got though.

Went in needing 2x2032 for the nvidia shield remote and perfect timing, picked up 5 packs. 2 shields, bunch of car fobs that do take 2032 or 2025 etc. 2030 expiry, good enough.

Same experience. Bought 2 of these a few months back regular price for both of my car's key fobs and they both became a lot worse than the batteries they replaced within a week. Expiry date on both were like in 2 or 3 years. Threw them out and ordered Amazon basic batteries and they've given me no issue. For the record, my fob is very basic, not for like keyless entry, remote start, or push start; just simple lock and unlock with the key attached. Will be avoiding Walmart batteries (at least these specialty ones).

Dollarama is always selling 3 for $1.5 ($0.5 each), different brand, but I don't feel much difference in use

I usually buy all my button cells from an amazon seller called shoptictoc. Have been buying from him for over 5 years. His stock varies (maxell, sony, panasonic, energizer, etc..) but I have never been disappointed. Usually around $1 each (less with higher volume). Last time I bought 50x SONY 2032 cells (for something like $35), and every one of them was perfectly fine. Need to buy a few CR1220 now for my synology units..

But for retail, $3 for 2 name brand batteries is pretty good.
I gave up on the el-cheapo no name brands. Buy a pack of 50, and you are lucky to get 10 working ones after 6 months on the shelf. Not worth it.

Sunbeam dollarama batteries are awful in my testing. Tried from different stores in key fob and pokemon clicker and both died fast.

FYI also commonly used in computer motherboards. Replace yours before you lose all your bios settings and clock.

It's been almost 10 years in one of my PCs on the original battery. Probably time to replace the entire motherboard!
