Mine shipped from Calgary which is like a billion kms away, instead of Mississauga which is much closer by. Looks like I will beat the record for most no. of dents on this thing.

can anyone tell me how quiet or loud the fridge is?
if the original sealed package has been opened in any way or form, it is NO LONGER BRAND NEW IN BOX!
if an item has been USED no matter how little, it is NOT new at all!

Don't worry - it's just a little vitamin "C" deficiency.....

Now mine's MIA. Loomis has no idea where it ended up. They probably damaged it and hid it somewhere.

It is pretty quiet. When you turn it on you hear that humming sound and then it gets quiet.

I read the manual and it says not to use an extension cord.

I just read "extension cord" and it says don't use an extension cord in the manual. Not sure what a 6ft 3prong extension cord plug is.

can these be stacked on top of one another? I am thinking to buy in multiples for basement tenants (students)

Does it cost to run more than buying ONE big unit ?

I think what Redscott was getting at is this: because of this "Also need a 6ft 3prong extension cord plug. Do they sell them at dollar store?"

Bought this fridge as a spare for the satellite locations.

God bless RFD.

Energy use is supposed to be 220 kilowatts per year. Multiples of these running will use a lot of power......

Comes with an ice tray so it *could* keep some ice cream solid or near solid. Don't expect it to keep it frozen like your regular freezer though. It's a pain to keep the ice build up out especially in hot days like these but excellent for cool drinks.
