[Walmart] Walmart / Koodo - Google Pixel 3a on Medium Tab w/ $100 Walmart GC

Just saw this in the Walmart flyer.

Google Pixel 3a - $0 on medium tab with $100 Walmart GC. 64GB storage version.
Another good deal from Koodo lately. Those that couldn't get the Huawei P20 or Pixel 2 might be interested in this.

Flyer says this takes effect for August 15th - 21st.

Will be a good deal tomorrow. The 3a on Extra Large is a freaking scam.

The Samsung A70 is also on a medium tab with a $100 GC. $125 at Bestbuy.
LG G7 thinq is also on a medium tab with a $50 gift according to Koodo.

Unless the Pixel 3a has a special place in your heart, I'd go for the other 2.

The pixel 3a has a substantially better camera to he G7 and A70. Smaller and more usable than the A70 too but the A70 is better for the screen and battery life. Between the A70 and pixel 3, I don't think there is a reason to go for the G7 unless you care about the quad dac.

$35 scam activation charge.

I think we'll see better deals on labor day

Ive read about the A70 having some ghost touch issues. Was about to jump on it, but that makes me a bit nervous.

TMS is offering only 50k pts. With the WM flyer, TMS will offer 100k pts tomorrow. It will be 150k pts with the trade-in.
$360 + $35 connection fee - 15k pts = $245 + tax. This is a better deal than the Rogers/Fido Pixel 2 for $240 + tax. $5 more to get a Pixel 3a.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Public Mobile $36 5GB, $12 250MB, 2x $6 50min/50text, Zoomer $36 4GB plan,
Fido $5 4GB plan with a free tablet, $0 FPL home phone.

Quad-dac is one. If the G7 drops low enough ($200-250 all in) it'll make a nice portable music player.

Did Koodo change their cancellation policy as announced? Or is a date set?

Yeah I haven't heard anything. There were a bunch of rumors going around but they all stopped.

Always best to add if it's on new activation or applies to hardware upgrade as well.

Also to all those saying they'll pick A70 or 3a over G7 THINQ, I believe ThinQ has snap dragon 845 and adreno 630.

HUGE reason for me to go with G7 ThinQ. Now if it's G7 One, it's a different story.
0 tolerance for BS.

If I downvote, chances are it's less about the deal, and more about OP's inability to take criticism and constantly favoring their deal due to their ego.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Patiently waiting for the Pixel 3/3 XL to go on sale. Hopefully the introduction of the budget phone doesn't mean they won't have deals for their premium flagship counterparts, in the future. At least like the phones they had on the s9/iPhone8 last year anyway.

Some poster claims their "source" said the policy change was put off for a while for some. The post was on the s10e thread.

From Walmart, I got a Pixel 3 large tab (it was not the usual $504, something like $480) + a $300 Walmart gift card. This was for Father's Day.

Not sure if the activation charge is for brand new accounts or new lines. They mentioned it to me when I opened a new line on my existing account but I never saw the charge on the bill and the math checked out - not complaining but not sure why they didn't charge me.
