Thanks to the self checkout Gods, I was able to score 3 of them for $0.02 each. This would make a good birthday present for kids.

The only way to score this is to mute the self checkout right?

Vancouver Metrotown and Grandview Hwy is "almost sold out" - probably gone now, or within the hour. Area RFDers react instantly to these kind of clearouts.

I purchased something else along with this. Best option is to buy few groceries or milk or any other items. I did not mute the self checkout machine but got lucky as the self-checkout manager/cashier was not paying attention.

My two small kids had the foosball game. It lasted two days until a rod broke in half. It's worth no more than 2c+short-drive+time.

Mute it why? So that no one hears it say “2 cents” out loud? Thanks.

definitely worth 2 cents, but to go out to just get this toy that I probably will not touch...... hmmmm a bit hard.

Yes, cashiers are supposed to take it away if they notice it's a $0.02 item. With self checkouts they may or may not hear it, but muting is one way to make sure they do not.

I pulled a Karen supernova asked for a manager last time they whined about this and they let me take it after I threatened to have a word with their area manager, I plan to try and get one after work along with a $3 camera loool video footage to follow with my Poco x3 pro I got off here as well muting self checkout is smart!!!
