Rofl, are they supposed to look like that?

Looks like some kids already wiped out in them a few times...

Only for people with brains worth less than $5. If you value yourself or your kid more - get the helmet that will actually work.
Helmets require replacement after severe impact. Some families cannot afford that many helmets. Maybe this one is Certified, or fits better than many other expensive ones.
Only brains worth less than $5 value things base on the asking price.

That's the whole point. " Maybe is certified", maybe it will resist that hit on the curb. If families can afford that many kids, they should be able to afford that many helmets. If not, have one kid and one good helmet. In the end we all pay for surgeries and rehabilitation with our taxes. Ask any paramedic what's the difference between good quality helmet and $3 special.
You and everyone else in this thread speculating on the quality aren’t doing any good for anyone interested in this deal. Secondly just because it’s on clearance for $3 doesn’t mean it’s not certified. There is a reason they call it a clearance product. They want to sell it low (sometimes at a significant loss) to get rid of any remaining inventory.

BTW for anyone wondering walmart states these are cpsc certified. So buy them if you want to save some money and don’t care about the style.

Complete and utter bullshit.

Every helmet sold in Canada must meet CPSC helmet safety standards, or it's illegal to sell.

Yes, replace your helmet once it's crashed, how **** often are you crashing onto your helmet that requires so many replacements that it's unaffordable?
