This is a good deal, but the free dining plan deal that occures each years is a better deal IMHO

I did a little research (we are planning a Disney World vacation for May 2015) and since 2011 the free meal plan promo has not been offered from April to late August. I didn't see any data for earlier years, but it seems like the free meal plan only runs during the "off-season".

for sure they run those promos off season to attract people when it's quiet... they do not need promos to attract people in peak season

I find The dining plan is not as good as it used to be. they now charge $10 per person for each missed dining reservation amd the food is not as good, for just two people we counted up the receipts last time, we didn't really save that much money, the reservations and trying to get your money's worth ruled our vacation

really? When was that? Went to Disney in 2008 and in 2011, and both years we took profit of the free dining plan. Really appreciated it, the food was very good everywhere we have been, table service restaurants are, IMHO, all awesome

End of summer vacation, before summer vacation in the spring except holydays like Easter by example

Every year from 2005 to 2012, we have noticed a decline every year in the quality of the food in a lot of the restaurants (not all) Menu items taken away, bland, reheated etc...
always trying to rush you along for the next person.I find the Fast food in Disney quite disgusting Eg: Pecos bill, tommorrowland terrace and hotel heat lamp breakfast is the worst. Last year we used the Run Disney discounts and bought our own meals in the good restaurants and spent a lot less. This is just my experience based on 2 people
