[Walmart] Wanted only for $8.83 in Wal-Mart

Wanted just came out around 3 weeks ago and it is really cheap. Found it at my local Walmart for $8.83. It is pretty cheap considering HMV and Futureshop is $9.99 and in Best Buy it is $24.99. Also the 2-Disc version was $11.83, but i like the single disc version better

I loved the movie BTW.
true...but theres a chance that if the DVD is this cheap, the Blu-Ray will also be cheaper than usual.

You could say that about Batman; a man that dresses as a bat, seems to defy gravity, and chases villains known as Scarecrow and Joker.

It's called a movie.

It's called suspension of disbelief. How about this?

Expert Chinese sword fighters literally fly all over the place, balance on tree branches, etc. Or...

Giant robots from space arrive on Earth with the ability to transform and then wage war against each other.

Wanted is a comic book action movie without the silly superhero outfits. Accept that and the movie is a fun, popcorn ride.

For the DVD, this is a really good price!

Great movie, have the MKV version.

DVDs are dropping in price like mad these past months, it won't be long before we see its demise in 2009 when Blu-Ray completely takes over as the mainstream home media. I foresee BR players in the $100-$200 range for all of the major brands by April '09.

as much as studios would love for blu ray to take over they're still predicting it is going to take another 12-18 months at best for it to be adopted as the go to medium

OK movie. For $9, not a bad deal. However, for $9 you could probably pick up the comic book instead and have a much better entertainment experience.
