Warm? - Dell XPS 15 9500 i5-10300H - $1395

I'm looking for a new laptop and have tried a few of the new AMD ones but they have had bad screens - 250 nits

I saw this offer for the Dell XPS 15 i5-10300H base model

8GB ram
256GB Storage

Price comes to $1395+ Tax On the Dell Business page, it currently has $100 off + you can stack with the 15% email signup discount. Also I found that using honey extension applied a $100 off coupon (not sure if these are unique)
What do you guys think, how does this compare to something like the HP ENVY X360 at Costco

Thank you both for the input, I was getting too much into the AMD hype but most of these laptops have terrible screens.
The 15% discount is good until Aug 15th, I ll wait to see if there is a better option till then.

Thanks again.

Would you recommend last years XPS 15 7590 over the new base model?
Just noticed that they have the the 7590 with the i7 + dedicated graphics card for $1514 so about $100 more vs the new base model.

I think it took about 1 week for me to get the email. I actually forgot about it an thought I wasn't going to get it as others had mentioned.
I just used a gmail account so didnt do anything special to get it.

Sorry I couldn't give much help

I would hold out, I saw that model for around $1400 before discounts in last round of sales and new design seems much improved. New model also has 1650 ti. I’m also looking at Lenovo C940, similar specs but in 2 in 1.
