Welcome John. :)

I prefer watch like your model with day & date and WR 100m or 200m (for swimming).

Recently I bough on ebay some vintage (pre-owned) watches they seems like NEW with tag ! Sometimes also, some sellers try to sell OLD as NEW but I usually get partial refund as compensation.

On your topic, I recently picked up a Seiko Kinetic Diver with Ion-Plated coating for below $200. I am loving it as my beater now with awesome lume, submariner inspired style, durability coating with no sign of desk dive after weeks of use. The high tech Kinetic is nice too since I have an extended collection and I don't have to worry about resetting time ever since a full charge last 6 mos. If Rolex built the same watch, it would be in the mid 4 figures, that I am sure.

+1, I love this watch so much too.

I also have an SKX011 which is the orange and gold version of the 007, I like that one in the summer.

But I agree the SKX007 is one of the best watches you can get of this type and style, I really enjoy mine - I have a few ZULU straps for it, a SEL Oyster from W Jean, a SEL Jubilee, the z22 rubber I dont wear much.

I used to have a Monster but unfortunately sold it  , Id really like to get another one, its styling is so unique and the bracelet is best ever...

I am very happy as watch collector.
@ebay.ca, I won an auction for 20 watches. I paid only 11$ + 10$ shipping cost for this lot.

They are:
1) is a Pulsar Quartz with Alarm. It has scratches on the crystal and the retaining ring.
2) is a Timex Indiglo Quartz. :)
3) is a On Time Quartz.
4) is a Anne Klein II Quartz.
5) is a Cheval Quartz.
6) is a Time Quartz.
7) is a Geneva Elite Quartz.
8) is a Seiko SX Quartz.
9) is a Multi Dial with No Name.
10) is a Gruen Quartz.
11) is a Ladies Roamer Wind Up.
12) is a Xanadu Quartz.
13) is a Willow Bay Quartz.
14) is a Timex.
15) is a Bulova Quartz.
16) is a Tmex Quartz.
17) is a Bulova Quartz.
18) is a Working 17 Jewel Sportsman with No Band.
19) is a Working Multi Dial with No Name.
20) is a Benrus Marimer 100 Quartz.

I like Timex and Indiglo technology = light for looking time when dark

I like this Gruen Quartz at right on the photo. it deserves 21$ alone ! :)

Wear it almost everyday and get quite a lot of compliments.

Not bad for a $90 watch.

Just sort of wondered into this thread. I don't own a watch but this thread speaks to me because I'm a broke ass.

I'm a huge fan of the military styled watch much like this one. Anyone have any good cheap military styled watches?

save up for a Marathon watch. many others may get a divers (or something heavy duty) and add a nylon strap like what the police wear.

I don't know yet for this lot but with the other lots I bought, the large majority (>75%) of pre-owned quartz watches work with a new battery. I do not buy old mechanical because I don't know repair it.

Good. if there are too much bid, I will not get this great deal. I am a ebay sniper.

My best deal is 5 women watches for 0.99$ +4$ shipping,

I bought mine at premierworld about 5 years ago - genuine. Had some problem with Canadian customs. Watch was sitting there for more than 6 weeks and eventually they came with some ridiculous duty (sorry don't remember what it was). Shipped it back and asked to reship to a friend in US.

I was thinking of buying this one :

Also, are these two watches identical?

http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SNK610-Auto ... 235&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-NK610-Mens- ... 235&sr=8-2

I know that the model no is the same but the picture quality & colour shade is quite different......just not sure which one is closer to the real life appearance of the watch, the first one being the one I would buy and the other one not really....
