'Watch Dogs Live' App hacks ATM machine and spits out $3,000 to real people in Mall

"As part of the viral marketing campaign for Ubisoft's upcoming video game, the smartphone app 'Watch Dogs Live' allows users who crack codes to trigger certain real world events.

The first event took place in Canada where users 'hacked' the bank account of the game’s main villain, causing an ATM machine to spew money in a shopping center."

lol that's awesome, this game is going to be phenomenal, though so is The Division when Ubisoft decides to announce it for PC otherwise they will become even more hated than EA. :D

Actually, it's Ubisoft that's releasing the game and recently they were hacked, and accounts were compromised. Either it's another marketing tactic or they're massive failures when it comes to security.
During this process, we learned that data were illegally accessed from our account database, including user names, email addresses and encrypted passwords. No personal payment information is stored with Ubisoft, meaning your debit/credit card information was safe from this intrusion.

As a result, we are recommending you to change your password by clicking this link.
Probably all planned but it is a cool app. Too bad it's really buggy.

Supposed to be a cool app, too bad it keeps giving the stupid server error before you even get a chance to play it

Anyone know what the next real world event trigger will be? and what will it affect/hack?

i.e. what is the next marketing trick for the game using the app?
