Watch Here: "Wonder Woman" - Very Well Done Short Live-Action Movie (2013)

This short movie can give an idea to Warner Bros./DC Comics how to approach a potential "Wonder Woman" live-action movie that can help lead up to an official "Justice League" movie.

From darkhorizon: "Many have wondered how a "Wonder Woman" movie would work, while her non-animated TV incarnations have shied away from the whole Themyscira, Amazonian and Greek mythological influences of the comic.

Leave it to short filmmakers and the Internet to show how it might work. Filmmaker Sam Balcomb and Rainfall Films have created this quite spectacular, trailer length, fan-made short film showcasing both sides of Diana - the contemporary crusader taking on crooks, and the Amazonian warrior battling mythical beasts."

So, What do you guys think....do you think Diana/Wonder Woman could be done better/different? Or did they get the looks/feeling right with this one?

Could this have something to do with the short "Wonder Woman" movie I posted above? Did it peak Warner Bros.' interest in a full-length movie?

Appearing at an entertainment law conference yesterday, Warner Bros. Pictures CEO Kevin Tsujihara says the lack of DC comic movies beyond the Batman & Superman franchises is a major "missed opportunity" on the studio's part.

He adds that Warners has "huge plans for a number of other DC properties on TV," and that one big priority is "[W]e need to get Wonder Woman on the big screen or TV."

The company is also keen on doing less sequels: "There needs to be a balance [of tentpoles vs. moderately-budgeted films], but there’s a risk in releasing non-branded movies, especially during the summer… there is a tendency to go to the well [on sequels] too many times."
