Water dripping from shower sprout after turning off faucet/knob

I believe replacing the cartridge should resolve the water dripping issue.

However, I took the cartridge out to Home Depot, Lowes, and Plumbing Mart. They couldn't recognize the manufacturer (I don't have the make and model) and don't have a replacement cartridge.

What is the next step? Do I need to replace the entire faucet including the valve?

What is the minimum that I can do to repair this water leaking faucet?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Post a picture here, many times other people recognize the brand.
How old is it? Do you remember, is it Moen? At least Moen and others have life warranty, they will send and helpful, they ask and try matching model.

I do not know the brand as it was installed by the previous owner. There is a tag on the cartridge which indicates the brand (LOTA) and model no (875-4501) of the cartridge. Contacted LotaUSA with the same pictures. Unfortunately, they sent me a a wrong replacement part (see last pic).

Most likely, there is no replacement part from this manufacture. If the manufacture is good one, they don't make and put on that tag like that.

It's better to replace the whole shower thing. Get new one from Moen or others (Delta, Pfister) with life time warranty. I had called Moen few times, they were very helpful and sent replacement part, no question asked. Yes, they asked which model, if I remembered.
