Seems like a good price for this SSD. Use discount code 93XQA76 to get $20 off so the final price will be $124.99 + tax. Free shipping as well.

update: Amazon has it on sale for $129.99 now.

This matches their Black Friday price. I picked one up then, good deal for a good budget NVMe drive :)

I plan to do some light video editing. And I know the SN750 would benefit the upgrade.

But when used in a 2015 Macbook Air i5.....do you think the bottleneck would be already be on the machine itself and I should just get this SN550? Or would a SN750 still help?

The WD Blue SN550 also has compatibility issues with the Lenovo Flex 5 Ryzen 4500 version. Had to return mine.

It works fine for the previous generation Lenovo Flex 14 - 6ikb in case anyone is wondering.

That's a i5-8250u cpu though so different chipset/class.

BTW, if anyone is obsessing over specs; just get a modern ssd based upon size and convenience /form factor.

Weird but true.
Was it ever figured out as to why the incompatibility exists?
Deal with it.
