Rated quite well - I returned my Nest Wifi and went with this as this can work solely in bridge mode with an existing firewall.

One of the lowest latency times measured from this one souce:

Perhaps not ideal for those looking to replace a router as well, but if you have an existing router use it just for that purpose (disable its wifi) and add this in bridge mode.

Good luck.

I just bought a second ASUS RT-AC66U B1 AC1750 router to go with my first one for AiMesh. On Amazon.ca and other retailers like Staples it's $99.99, I think it will be better than this since you can run Merlin firmware on it.

It's actually not bad, but not the best price - but the best current price.
It's been down to $199.99 before and have hovered around $220 - $230 recently - yes, it's only $10 difference to current price, but it's a data point.

The new AX mesh kits are starting to appear, but they could use some maturation - if you don't really need to upgrade now, I'll wait for the AX stuff to mature a bit, or for this price to drop a bit more.

Thanks for the heads up. Had looked a bit at this kit or the TP-Link Deco M9 which had better reviews in one or two places that I saw, but I'm new to mesh tech and can wait a bit.

Well rated, they suck! I am sure it is me though. I pulled them as we kept losing network with them installed, gotta try it again, lol.

I bought these back in August and they've been good. Easy set up, no issues.

I was happy to see i paid 229 instead of the 250 on bfd.

In for the requisite "Friends don't let friends buy D-link" comment.
