It was a late 90's thing too. A postal outlet converted to a Wendy's had the salad bar.

Also a location that used to be in Scarborough (before it moved and merged with Tim Horton's) had one.
I used to visit the Wendy's salad bar in Scarborough a lot. They included chocolate pudding as a dessert.
One person working there said "go ahead! use the pudding as a topping for the salad! We won't judge..." lol
I miss those days. I wish the AYCE salad bar (or super bar) could come back!
I agree! Even the full size is a bit on the small size, but I don't have a lot of options in Vancouver at 2 AM in the morning. Pre-COVID, there were restaurants that open really late.
