This WD Gold Enterprise 16TB drive (Model #: WD161KRYZ) is at the top of the line for mechanical hard drives and has a sustained transfer speed north of 262 MB/s, comes with 512MB of cache, is rated for 2.5M hours MTBF and supports 550TB written per year with a 5 year warranty (2,750 TBW over it's warrantied lifetime). These drives run at 20 dBA idle, up to 36 dBA during seek. That compares well to the WD Red Pro (same dBA ratings) as well as the Seagate Exos Enterprise drive as well as their IronWolf Pro NAS drives (both run at 28 dBA idle and 34 dBA during seek). All 16+ TB NAS and Enterprise drives are going to be louder than desktop grade drives.

This deal has free shipping and is provincial tax free for those provinces that are not harmonized. You only need pay 5% GST in these select provinces and thus, will save an additional:

7% - British Columbia
7% - Manitoba
6% - Saskatchewan
9.975% - Quebec

Great deal. Tried ordering and at first it goes through and get email confirmation for the order. Bur right after I get cancellation of order email saying, "Difficulty in processing payment information ". Did anyone else get this??
