[WestJet] Fares from $119 One Way YUL/YOW/YYZ to YVR (YVR to YYZ O/W from $178) Taxes included! April-June Dates

Spotted this on flyertalk:

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mileage ... eturn.html

Westjet is pricing some interesting prices when you create a "multiple destination" itinerary for same day turn around itineraries that end in Quebec City. This works for select date combos from April-June.

Examples:

Montreal to Vancouver: as low as $119 CDN taxes included (Montreal to Vancouver to Quebec City):
https://www.google.ca/flights/#search;i ... 06-05;tt=m

Ottawa to Vancouver as low as $134 CDN taxes included (Ottawa to Vancouver to Quebec City):
https://www.google.ca/flights/#search;i ... 06-05;tt=m

Toronto to Vancouver as low as $161 CDN taxes included (Toronto to Vancouver to Quebec City):
https://www.google.ca/flights/#search;i ... 06-07;tt=m

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

To fly back from Vancouver (unless you decide to do the full trip to Quebec City) so far I can only find cheap routing to Toronto, with the itinerary ending in Edmonton or Kelowna:

Vancouver to Toronto as low as $178 CDN taxes included (Vancouver to Toronto to Edmonton):
https://www.google.com/flights/#search; ... 06-23;tt=m

If you decide to fly this while dropping the 2nd leg.... DON'T CHECK IN LUGGAGE! Your luggage will go to your final destination.

If you do end up going for a joy trip across the country and back within 24 hours, you can easily rack up some Westjet dollars (or miles towards aadvantage vs delta skymiles)

Any other interesting combos please post.

Cheapest one-way from Ottawa to Vancouver in May or June is $241. Am I doing something wrong?

Any cheap flights from Toronto to Montreal? Or does anyone on RFD have any recommendations on good and affordable ways to travel between the cities - besides renting a car and driving? Preferably under $100 per person RT.

HA! $135 return. Ottawa – Vancouver – Quebec City
ALL ON Tue, Jun 5

9:00 a.m. – 11:13 a.m. -- Ottawa (YOW) – Vancouver (YVR)

Have Lunch at the Airport

1:00 p.m. – 8:32 p.m. -- Vancouver (YVR) – Toronto (YYZ)
10:15 p.m. – 11:56 p.m. -- Toronto (YYZ) – Quebec City (YQB) (Cuz it's more expensive to NOT get off in Toronto)
Then what... VIA Train to Ottawa??

Yep... you gotta add the 2nd leg to Quebec City in order to get the $134 CDN rate to fly Ottawa to Vancouver:

So you're actually going to create a multiple destination itinerary and fly: Ottawa to Vancouver to Quebec City within 24 hours (YOW-YVR-YQB on June 5th):

https://www.google.ca/flights/#search;i ... 06-05;tt=m

If you don't want to fly to Quebec City, you have a one way ticket from Ottawa to Vancouver for $135 CDN.

Also, here's another Combo for $224 CDN taxes included:

June 20: Montreal to Toronto

**2 nights in Toronto

June 22: Toronto to Quebec City

**1 night in Quebec City

June 23: Quebec City to Montreal

Is this a glitch in their system? Very strange Westjet would do this intentionally (have the on-eway ticket more expensive than the return on the same day!)

Personally I'd be worried they'll cancel the booking... otherwise as you said, that's a great deal when intentionally skipping the second flight!

Alright so a few questions. Anyone have any luck using the 15% off code from the other thread? A

Will west jet give you any issues or problems for abandoning the second leg of the flight? I mean I assume you just don't show up for it, or should you let them know on check in that you are not flying back to Quebec city?

I've got a lot of folks looking for last minute tickets to BC for the first week of June for my wedding so this is great. Thank you OP

For WestJet rewards members, I have received an email notification that a credit of $50 in WestJet dollars and they’re to be used before April 1, it will make this deal even better! YMMV for sure...
