Better than nothing. Thanks for sharing.

I fly a lot of AC, but sometimes get stuck on WestJet, so I’ll take what I can get.

I status matched my TK to WS gold last time. Completely useless for me other than 1 time confirmed same day change to an earlier flight.

I wasn’t able to use any of the “standby only” upgrade certificates because they’d fill the seats with staff before upgrading you. The “premium” are not business class anyway.

The lounge pass to plaza premium may be useful for someone who doesn’t already have a priority pass / Amex plat.

Agree. I feel bad for people who mostly fly domestic since we get screwed not only in price but also frequent flyer benefits.

Probably best value is altitude 25k members as you get some lounge access vs nothing with a/c

I usually can avoid westjet but I’ve taken a less preferred schedule flight to build aqs

I’ll toss my hat in the right but doubt I’ll use it. Good deal for vipporter members considering how limited their network is and no liqour lounges

Anyone get their status match completed yet? I emailed on the 23rd, got a reply back saying they'd get back to me in 7 days, but haven't heard anything yet.

I'm disappointed they're not matching statuses from non Canadian carriers, even from US carriers.
Freedom mobile, airbnb, AMEX, Great Canadian Rebates (GCR), Ebates, Top Cash Back, Groupon, Livingsocial, Doordash, SkipTheDishes, Checkout 51, Drop, Stack, TransferWise, Questrade, EQ, Achieva, PayTM, Simplii and Tangerine customer.

same here... i'm 1K United and wouldn't mind the Westjet status for the times I can't get a flight I need on Star Alliance.

They used to match hotel and rental car (!) status a few years ago. I enjoyed my year of Gold.
