What animal’s poop are these?

I notice a lot of poop in my backyard and was wondering what animal’s poop these are. Do I need to clean this up or will it naturally blend into the soil? Thanks

Rabbit droppings. They are amazing! Fertilizes your lawn when it melts!

The ones in my yard that look like that are from deer. Maybe a bit bigger tho.

Ive got a little guy who insists on coming up the 4 steps of my porch and leaving bombs.

And unlike what I'm used to finding on the lawn in summer, they arent hard and dry. Trying to shovel them away has proven...messy...

Since bunnies are vegetarian, the pellets will just blend into your lawn without any damage. Not like cat shit that gets on your hands when you dig your garden. Or dog shit that will leave a green tuft where it fertilized the grass, or a brown ring where the dog had acid piss.

Every winter I shovel around in the backyard making spots for them to leave droppings .... I have piles of them all in different spots .... once the snow melts they all go into the ground and the grass gradually gets very very very green!

No need to use other fertilizers in the backyard.

The front yard is totally different ... too much open space for them ... nowhere to hide ... the backyard is a safe place for them .. see them all the time back there

Year round ... I cut off the ends of veggies that I do not use ... cut them up in smaller shreds ... toss them in the backyard ... they feed off of that as well .. always welcome them ... come say hello, get some food and help me out with my lawn ..

The most that I have ever seen were 4 adult rabbits in the yard ... they've made nests all over and each set of newborns are about 6 little ones .... amazing ...

Awww lucky guy. Good job. And the best part is you get all the cuteness and your grass looking at its best all for (relatively) free

Each spring I look for their nests ... then I cover it up with loose grass clippings (if in the middle of the lawn) ... make sure I make markings so I don't mow over it.

If the nest is in the garden (behind my plants) ... I get pieces of old plywood and make a cover to shade it from rain (especially freezing rain) ...

Definitely the droppings are awesome for natural fertilizer ...
